My Sunday Photo – Play-Doh fun

Earlier in the week, Georgie asked to play with Mum’s excellent collection of Play-Doh and accessories. Along with a range of colours (50 small pots given to her as a joke present on her 50th birthday), Mum has a selection of cookie cookers, shape squeezy things, and a mini rolling pin to make creations with.

Lydia was snoozing away upstairs, so Georgie and I settled in on the dining room table with our goodies and a few bits and pieces from the tea set too.

We made lots of pretend food, including purple peas and pineapple rings, yellow chips (although she was annoyed they weren’t purple too!), and a large purple apple. Georgie had loads of fun in the world of make-believe, pretending to chomp away at the food with great gusto, and some brilliant sound effects!

After we made food, Georgie asked me to make “wiggly worms” with one of Mum’s presses, and then a clump of these were treated to Georgie’s entire bedtime routine. I was required to make a Play-Doh bath, followed by a small tube of moisturiser, then a bed, a bedtime story, and so on!

Georgie was kept amused for several hours whilst we rolled and squeezed and patted and shaped.
