Georgie’s third birthday was yesterday, and I tried to capture her face when she saw her little pile of birthday presents. It’s blurry and not really good enough for a post about the day, but the wide eyes and “oh my god” look are right there.

I love this closed eyes Easter excitement photo from Mummy of Two from last week – we have this problem with my Mum, who always has her eyes shut in every photo!

We occasionally get children’s snacks and other foods to review here on the blog, and it can be really hard to get good photos of small children eating – even if they are really enjoying the food! Here are a few snaps of Lydia enjoying a Soreen banana lunchbox loaf… she did love it, honestly!

Welcome to the first week of my new linky, the outtakes!

We see a lot of amazing photos shared on blogs, many in weekly linkys such as My Sunday Photo, which I join in with most weeks. I thought we could all do with a laugh and that it would be fun to have somewhere to share the bad photos as well as the good… whether it is a posed family shot gone wrong, a hilarious facial expression frozen forever by your camera, or a blurry mess more suited to a “guess the image” brain teaser, you can share your silly shots here.

My first outtakes photo is this one of Georgie playing with her new Bigjigs roadway set that we reviewed last week. She is shouting “ready steady GO!” a bit too enthusiastically 😀
