Fancy a nibble of my boobs?

Today was the final day of my Breastfeeding Buddy training course, and I had to have my practical assessment to check that I know my stuff before I got my certificate and the all important pink t-shirt – my new buddy “uniform”!

Rather embarrassingly, we also had our photograph taken as a group for a press release! Hopefully we will be featured in the local news soon to promote the service we have been trained to provide. I will try to remember to post it here if we’re on any of the local news sites :-).

In order to celebrate our last day (and to fine tune my cupcake & buttercream recipes for Georgie’s birthday) I whipped up a batch of cupcakes to share with the rest of the trainees and the staff at the children’s centre. In the Kitchen: Quick & Easy Banoffee Pie

Mmmmm.. banoffee pie

I made one of these banoffee pies a few weeks ago when some of my family came to visit, and it went down very well. Banoffee pie is one of my all time favourite puddings! This is something you can knock up while dinner is in the oven, as it’s very easy – I cheat and buy ready made caramel because I just can’t be bothered trying to make caramel that will probably taste worse than the tinned stuff!
