Snap Happy Britmums – Day 9, June – What are you reading?

Having just finished reading the Amelia Peabody series this week, followed by racing through a couple of chick lits, today I am starting from the beginning again with the Southern Vampire Mysteries series. I have just bought the latest book & wanted to re-read the series again first as it has been a while. This is the series that the popular tv show ‘True Blood’ is based on, and I really enjoy the books – it is another case of the books being miles better than the tv show, though I enjoy that too!

Some may call this a random coincidence, some may call this fate… I call it a perfect example of my daughters immense intelligence & mind reading prowess… ok, so it was a weird coincidence, happy now?!

We visited Blists Hill Victorian Town at Ironbridge today, and Georgie got to see her first ever Punch & Judy show complete with a very special guest who managed to pop in in between her other official jubilee engagements! 😉

Our rather boring house phone! We keep them locked because Georgie is always trying to steal them off their bases in order to hide them in mysterious places. If you ever have the need to call the Mama Geek household, be prepared to wait a little bit while we search frantically for the source of the ringing sound… You might even go so far as triggering the answer phone, but don’t give up hope that quickly, we might still pick up!
