Georgie has a slightly odd sized children’s bed from Ikea, so none of the standard sized mattress protectors fit her bed, and we have had a bit of a nightmare experience trying to find one we like. Most of them out there are fitted, and so we ended up with a horrible crinkly one that tied on (ineffectively, it turned out), which we paid a tenner for… and felt ripped off when it fell apart in less than 10 minutes of trying to wrestle it onto her mattress.
