Tigger is one of our two cats – isn’t he handsome?
After not seeing Roo and Tigger for ages as someone else has been letting them in and feeding them (they both reek of smoke when they come by our house), we have resorted to switching them onto Whiskas pouches – crack for cats. The first time I waved one in Tigger’s direction he was over the garden and reporting to the cat bowl in a matter of seconds… he definitely recognised it, they’ve clearly been corrupted by someone in the neighbourhood. No wonder they were shunning the supermarket own brands. Feline snobs.
I was actually out in the garden snapping a few photos with my zoom lens + macro extension tubes when I took these, as Tigger came to investigate what I was up to. He wasn’t keen on the shutter sound otherwise I would have tried to get closer – a macro shot of a cats eye is one of my dream shots, but Roo and Tigger are both too skittish to let me try.

Very handsome indeed – I used to have a ginger and white can who was such a character. I still miss him 13 years after he died. Please do add Tigger to #AnimalTales on Tuesday over on my blog if you want to.
