We recently helped to host a Lion Guard twitter party, and it was a lot of fun! We were sent a big box of games to play, prizes for the kids to win, and a small fee to cover costs.
Lion Guard is a Disney Junior cartoon based on the Lion King films, featuring Simba’s son (and youngest child) who is leader of the Lion Guard – protecting the Pride Lands. He chooses his bravest, fastest, strongest, and keenest of sight friends to join him (the fiercest) in his team to defend the Circle of Life.
Our party celebrated the new range of toys from Flair – and the overall opinion of the toys was really good. The kids were delighted to win some to take home, and when we played with them they seemed a lot of fun and of good quality.
First up, was pin the tail on Kion the Lion! Georgie was first to go but was pipped to the post by L who was a very happy winner!

Next up was a maze challenge, to help Kion find his friends. Lily was our delighted winner & won a very cool toy.

To the delight of the children, it was time for snacks next, including yummy cakes with Roarsome cake toppers.

Once the snacks were all gobbled up it was time for Name the Animal. The kids sat in a circle and the first to tell me the animal in the picture I held up got to keep the picture, and then we counted up how many animals they had at the end.

The kids were in the party mood so we had some games of musical statues and musical bumps with the Lion Guard soundtrack, and then they played with some of the toys, which went down very well indeed!

We loved the mini figures which come in blind bags – something little kids find INCREDIBLY exciting – that were in the goodie bags the kids went home with.

So there you go – a bit of a sum up of what we got up to for our twitter party. As you can see it was loads of fun, and the toys were a definite hit. The kids really enjoyed the different characters and the playset was a huge hit – Georgie and Lydia were sad to see it leave to go home with the friend who won it!
My kids seem to love Lion Guard!
