When James first pointed this product out to me online, my instant reaction is we need one of those! I think it will actually be on Georgie’s Christmas list this year. There is nothing Georgie loves more than to play with the iPad or one of our iPhones, and while supervised play on my iPad isn’t going to result in anything worse than a bit of drool and a slight drop on to whatever surface she’s sitting on, or similar, the iPhone is a different story. She could end up costing me a fortune in calls to Mexico, and they are a lot more susceptible to baby drool and being dropped than the sturdier iPad. Also, they are easier to throw across a room than the heavier tablet which she just tends to sit on her lap and thwack at! There is also the fact that an iPhone fits much better into Georgie’s mouth than the iPad!
There are some fantastic baby apps out for the iPhone, and this case would allow Georgie to play with them to her heart’s content without risking damage to the device. Fisher Price have even released some freebie apps designed for babies & toddlers to have some fun, which Georgie has been enjoying playing with.
In fact, my iPhone is such a hit with her and this case looks so fab, I might even keep my eye out for a cheapo second-hand iPod touch for Georgie to play with! If I can grab a bargain, she could be one of the youngest Apple customers ever!
