As part of the Keep Britain Breastfeeding Scavenger Hunt 2013, I am pleased to announce that I have not one, but two Therlaine Wynnie nursing pillows to giveaway! I reviewed this nursing pillow here on my blog a few weeks ago and it received a very well deserved 5 stars!
Today is all about breastfeeding tips on the scavenger hunt, and one of my top tips when breastfeeding is to get yourself a decent nursing pillow so this giveaway is perfect for today! Trust me when I say you are going to be spending a lot of time sat on the sofa or in bed breastfeeding your baby, and a nursing pillow will make your life a lot easier.
It’s worth spending a small amount of money on a nursing pillow to make the hours of breastfeeding ahead of you as comfortable as possible! They double up as a great baby support too, when your little one is starting to want to sit up more:

To be in with a chance of winning one of the two Wynnie pillows I have to giveaway, just leave me a comment telling me your top breastfeeding tip and record your entries with this rafflecopter widget.

Have plenty of drink and snacks close at hand for those marathon feeding sessions
Try not to let baby use you as a dummy, as they will alsways be at the breast.
My mum is great support as she breast fed me x
I found having a group of mummies who were also up nursing at night a god send . We’d send a group text out and have a little chin wag if anyone else was up – so nice to have company when hubby snoring away and can ask those questions about latch nipples etc that hubby just can’t helP with x
My supporter was my hubby in the day and a group of breast feeding mummies by night
drink plenty of water!!!!!! this was the best advice given to me when I had my first baby ( given to my by her great nana who trained as a midwife during ww2). the secret to plenty of milk is the 3 waters which I laughed at, at the time. drink a glass b4 u feed, another while feeding and when yr baby has finished have another and yr always have a great milk supply. believe me this really works, 4 babies later and I have always had an over supply of milk in my freezer!!!!! give it a try xxx
drink plenty of water before, during and after each feed!! keeps yr milk supply up x
Don’t watch the clock to see how often or how long your baby is nursing. Instead, go with your instincts. If your baby is rooting around or crying, then feed him or her — even if you just did. @anna8301

Where a vest under your top so you can easily feed discretely (one up, one down).
My tip is to get all the help you can with getting the latch right. Its crucial!

my top tip would be to get to your local support groups before baby arrives, meet the breastfeeding supporters and local breastfeeding mums. These people and their companionship, support, knowledge and experience will be so valuable to you, and its easier to go to them after baby is born if you have already met them.
My biggest supporter is my other half who got me through the first few weeks, and now I’m three and half years two children in and still going strong!
