This week after playgroup we headed to the play area behind the hall and the girls had a fab time on the swings, slides and other play equipment. Lydia just had her soft leather shoes on but as it was just grass we let her toddle about a bit.
Lydia hasn’t really been able to sit on grass since last summer so it was almost like a new experience for her.
The ground has been so muddy over the last few months that whenever we have been outside Lydia has been in someones arms, in the wrap, or in a pushchair or smart-trike. The hard soled shoes that we had for Georgie at this age were all in storage, and we haven’t been able to go anywhere to buy Lydia a “first pair of shoes” so our poor girl hasn’t really been able to walk around outside yet.
Oh I do love seeing a little one sitting in the grass, picking the daisies and exploring the leaves. Just gorgeous #mysundayphoto
