Yesterday we spent the day at West Midland Safari Park, which is one of our favourite local attractions. We’ve visited several times both before we had kids, and with the children, though we hadn’t made it over in the last few years since we moved a bit further away.
On Wednesday evening, we went into the City Centre to go and see live stage show of The Snowman which is currently on at the REP theatre in Birmingham. We were invited along to review the show and had a really lovely evening.

On Sunday we headed to the Sea Life Centre to visit the penguins and check out their Christmas “Meet Santa” event. The girls never get tired of visiting the centre, so they were eager to go & check on their favourite sea creatures, and find Santa in his grotto!
On Sunday morning we headed over to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to check out their Santa’s Grotto. Both Georgie and Lydia were very excited to see Santa (they can’t get enough of the big guy!), and we enjoyed a lovely lunch in the tea rooms afterwards, and spent some time in the Mini Museum too.
