We were invited along to spend a day at Drayton Manor, and had a great day out. They girls have been longtime fans of Thomas Land so they were very excited to be visiting again – and also looked forward to enjoying some of the other rides in the park that they are now tall enough for.
Yesterday our little family headed to Thomas Land for the second weekend in a row, to meet up with my sister & her family. Georgie & Lydia were really excited to show their cousin around their favourite theme park, and take her on all their favourite rides! I got some Mother’s Day treats first… a …
On Saturday Lydia turned three – and she got to spend the day at Thomas Land at Drayton Manor, what a fab birthday treat! We were invited to come along and review the popular family attraction, that’s perfect for Thomas & Friends fans for all ages.
We were lucky enough to be invited along to the opening ceremony of the new Thomas Land Expansion! It opened over the Easter holidays, and Georgie and Lydia were very excited to see what was new at their all-time favourite theme park. We took along Georgie’s very best friend Sophie too, to join in the fun.
We live around 45 minute drive from Drayton Manor, home of Thomas Land, and so we are fairly regular visitors to the park. Our train mad pair of girls love all of the Thomas and Friends rides they have there, and our last visit for the Christmas experience was simply magical. Georgie and Lydia are mini-thrillseekers and always try to go on every ride possible when we visit!
Last weekend we took the girls to Drayton Manor for our “Official Christmas 2014 Santa Sighting”. Rather than being invited to review it to the blog, we were there as paying guests, having looked forward to our treat for a few months. We live around 40 minutes drive from Drayton Manor so it wasn’t too …
Tale of the Brave is the latest Thomas & Friends film, and we were lucky enough to be invited to go along to Drayton Manor, home of Thomas Land, to watch the new film in the cinema there. I took Lydia and Georgie along on the train for the day, to check out the new film and have some fun on the rides afterwards!
The film is great fun, a tale of ghosts, bravery and friendship. Several new characters are introduced and they have some scary and exciting adventures. There are some fun songs, some ever so slightly scary bits, and lessons about what courage really is, and how friends help each other.
About a month ago, I got a very exciting email that had me messaging James immediately to demand he book a day off work… an invitation to visit Thomas Land at Drayton Manor to view a VIP screening of the new Thomas & Friends King of the Railway film!
I’ve already blogged what I thought about the (rather fab) film, now here’s what we got up to at the theme park. We were really lucky with the weather and I think we probably had the last really good day of the summer.
