Review: Ravensburger Taj Mahal 3D Puzzle

I love to solve jigsaw puzzles in my (limited!) spare time, although I hadn’t done a 3D puzzle since I was a teenager before putting together this mini Taj Mahal. How things have changed! Last time I did a 3D puzzle it was a comparatively huge structure made from thick foam pieces that fell apart a bit too easily while you were trying to put the thing together.

This puzzle is made from strong plastic pieces, some of which are hinged or curved to form the building’s rounded shape and corners. There are also various plastic components that are used to clip the different sections of jigsaw pieces together to create the full building.

Review: Ravensburger “The Secretary” jigsaw puzzle

I really enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, and being offered this lovely 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle to review was like being handed an excuse to take a few hours for myself and do something to relax.

Our little Puzzler

I adore jigsaw puzzles and, to be honest, am really quite good at them – people always comment on it if they see me doing one. Dad was having a conversation with Georgie recently and informed her that I am a “Puzzler” which apparently means a “person who is very good at doing jigsaw puzzles!” …

An evening with Tinyme

Brownsover Hall Hotel, Rugby

Last week I was treated to a fabulous evening in Rugby, joining a group of other bloggers and some lovely folks from Tinyme for a delicious three-course meal at Brownsover Hall Hotel.

It’s always great to meet up with other bloggers, especially at a local event in the Midlands, and we all had a great time chatting & laughing together while we consumed some truly delicious food and lovely bubbly drinks! I enjoyed the opportunity of putting names to faces & making new friends.

Confession Time… My Not-So-Secret Hobby

Anyone who has ever been in the spare room at either this house or our previous one will already know perfectly well that I am obsessed with… Jigsaws. I love them. I know, I’m like a little old lady in a nursing home or something… It’s so uncool, isn’t it? There is something so relaxing …
