(AD – Review) We were sent this tablet a while ago to review, but then got slightly distracted by getting ill with coronavirus and having to juggle lockdown homeschooling and work, whilst still recovering. Long story short; it’s had a few months of testing for this review – sorry about that!
Expected to be one of the top toys this Christmas, Boxer is a fun interactive palm-sized robot suitable for 6 years+ from Spinmaster. We were sent one of these little guys to review, and the girls think he is great!
We discovered Mardles Augmented Reality stickers earlier this year, and had some fun painting rocks, adding Mardles AR stickers, and hiding them in our local park for people to find. The girls really enjoyed that so when we were offered the chance to try out their interactive colouring book as well as a set of stickers I jumped at the chance – especially since it was for their Aquatic Adventures book and Under The Sea stickers, as Georgie is a huge fan of sea creatures.
This gift box bundle is the perfect present for anyone who loves to take photos but never quite gets around to printing any of them off to keep as mementos – basically, perfect for me then! With a HP Sprocket mini printer, a beautiful rose gold carry case, and a mini photo album, it’s a great bundle to get anyone started preserving their special photos.
Teksta are well known for their robotic pets, which are instantly recognisable and make popular gifts. These new Micro-Pets make the little robots both insanely cuter than their bigger counterparts, and also more affordable, bringing the range firmly into pocket money affordability.
Georgie and Lydia love playing educational apps on the iPad, and especially love it when there are physical elements to interact with as well as the screen. Smart Numbers is a great example of this, and the girls have really been enjoying this “connected toy”.
The Kitsound BoomBar Bluetooth speaker is a small, portable, yet fairly powerful speaker.
The HUAWEI MediaPad M2 10.0 is an Android tablet with great audio, a lovely big screen, fingerprint recognition, and an attractive metallic casing.
First impressions of this Epson printer were positive, and after a few days use I haven’t been disappointed. It is jam packed with features, works seamlessly with our devices, and prints good quality documents quickly.
I was hoping for high things from this iPad Pro case, but unfortunately it hasn’t impressed me much at all. It promises a high level of protection but I’m not sure it can live up to that.
