Now that Lydia is old enough to have some expressed breast milk in bottles, we are keen to try and get her used to having the occasional bottle so that I can leave her with James for a few hours if need be. I have been sent a Lansinoh manual breast pump to test out, and so one afternoon last week I put the girls down for their naps and took advantage of the moment of peace to give it a go.
We have been testing this nursing pillow out for two months now, since coming home from hospital with our brand new baby Lydia!
The Wynnie pillow is very comfortable to use, being nicely “squidgey” yet still supportive of Lydia.
I have been using my tube of Lanolin nipple cream since Lydia was born, and have found it fantastic for soothing and protecting my nipples.
Lydia is exclusively breastfed, and is now feeding well – and often!

It’s hard not to have pre-conceived notions about microwave meals when you are used to the typically mediocre standards of the meals usually found on the supermarket shelves.
