I have been hankering after a nice bedside light for a while so when Valuelights gave us a few options to choose from for our latest review, this birds lamp jumped out at me. James & I both enjoy wood textures rather than plain, so this lamp fits right into our bedroom.

Review: Funky Penguin Lightshade – Valuelights (19702)
One Georgie’s favourite animals is penguins, so when Valuelights asked us to pick our first review item as part of their blogger network, this novelty plastic ceiling shade was an obvious choice! Lydia is a penguin fan too, so it was bound to be very well received by both of our girls.
Review: Greener Cleaner cleaning supplies
We were sent a selection of Greener Cleaner products to try out, including various brushes, limescale remover, some all-purpose cloths, and a window wiper. My first impression was good – these products feel nice in your hand, and look good too – I love the little logo etched into all of the handles. Greener Cleaner products come in a range of four colours; blue, red, cream and green. The handles are make from a special eco-wood-blend technology, which is made from recycled plastic and wood pulp, and results in a sturdy & dishwasher safe material.
Review: PurFlo Breathable Mattress
When I first saw the design of the PurFlo Breathable Mattress, I must confess to being both slightly skeptical and intrigued, in equal measures.
With the idea of hammocks in my mind I could see why what is essentially a mattress surface of suspended material would be incredibly comfortable, but I was concerned about whether Lydia would find is supportive enough to sleep soundly. I’m pleased to report that my worrying was in vain; she loves it.

Where I can, I try to be an environmentally conscious person. Unfortunately, this can often be expensive – so expensive that we can’t afford the better options of things. Up until I discovered splosh.com, this was definitely the case with Eco friendly cleaning products.

This is the third piece of furniture from this range we have been sent to review; Georgie already has the matching table & stool set and sling bookcase. This toy box compliments the other items she has perfectly, using the same shade pink and similar designs on the front panel.
