We were sent a selection from the new Sofia the First Micro Playsets range to review ahead of a twitter party, so that the children attending could play with the toys and put them through their paces. The sets we received were the amulet, tiara, bracelet and magic wand. They are all marked as 3 years + and all come with small micro figures that hide inside.
For Georgie’s Play Patrol mission, she was sent two pairs of percussion instruments; two snazzy handbells and a pair of animal maracas. We had a challenge to involve someone else in our play so, along with the train puzzle Lydia received, we took them to a blogger get together at a park in town so all the kids could play together.
It was love at first cuddle with Henry Hugglemonster and my two girls… Georgie was so impatient for me to remove him from his box, she was squeezing his hand and listening to what he had to say, before I could get the sellotape off.
We were sent this Chunky Train Puzzle for Lydia (aka Agent SuperDucky) to try out for our latest Play Patrol mission. Our top secret brief was to get someone else involved in the playtime, so we decided to take ours along to a local blogger meet up – a picnic in the park with lots of kids!
It’s time for Lydia’s first official Play Patrol mission, how exciting! Her first toy is a Bigjigs Doll of her very own. Georgie’s favourite toy is a Bigjigs Doll we reviewed yonks ago called Melody, and so it’s really lovely that Lydia has one of her own now – and a relief for Georgie as she no longer has to jealously guard Melody from her little sister!

Georgie has a growing collection of Bigjigs Rail toys and this Overhead Gantry Crane is the perfect accompaniment to the goods train & container shipping set that her Uncle Mike bought her.
Our first official mission of this year’s new #PlayPatrol scheme, and both girls are now agents, and they have caps as well as their t-shirts! They had to be tried on immediately, of course.
Georgie was immediately taken with this doll, and it’s not hard to see why. As soon as I opened the packaging I could see that Clara, as Georgie calls her, is high quality and very adorable.
Miniclara is completely made of a lovely plush fabric, with just the right amount of padding which has resulted in this super soft and very cuddly doll. All of her detailing, the ribbons, hair flower, etc, are well sewn on which means you don’t have to worry about anything untying and falling off, making her suitable for babies to cuddle.
We are delighted to be in the running to be selected as Play Patrol agents for the second year of the scheme… there are 21 hopefuls and we have all been sent a mission to complete; reviewing these fab Wooden Safari Animal Building Blocks. The slight snag with this challenge is we reviewed them back in August, complete with a stop-motion animation video and 5 star rating.

We have been playing with wooden railway for the past year, growing our collection, and Georgie thinks it is just great. When we saw that Bigjigs Toys have roadway as part of their range, we knew that we would have to get some for Georgie sometime, as it expands and complements your railway.
