The girls really enjoy Lion Guard, which is a children’s TV series based on the Lion King films. The main character, Kion is Simba’s youngest child, and he and his group of friends help maintain the peace in the Pride Lands.

Lydia is really into princesses at the moment, so when we were offered the chance to review a Lalaloopsy Princess doll I said “yes please” – which has made me a very popular Mummy indeed.

I think that a structured bedtime routine is really important for kids to get them down to sleep at the end of the day. We have been using the same routine for several years now, and it works really well to calm the girls down ready for bed. We’ve been sent some new In the Night Garden toys from Golden Bear to help with our bedtime routine, and so we can share our thoughts & opinions on them.
Georgie and Lydia both enjoy playing with toy figurines; being really imaginative children they can always spin stories with their toys, and Schleich toys are perfect for this.
It is no secret that we are fans of Ewan the Dream Sheep in this house. Lydia is a Ewan addict, needing her entire collection to sleep at night.
